Movie Poster Barrage (Hooray!)

So, STinG here, back for a bit after a barrage of Cesar and David's reviews to fill in my shoes while I go busy, and I noticed I wasn't posting as of recent and I noticed that I had a wishlist of movie posters once upon a time, so I looked at it again and thought... 'Wow, these 75+ posters need to be seen by others...'

So, here it is, my personal poster folder, which some of them are popular, some of them are not, some are foreign, some are special edition, some are extremely bizarre, one of these posters is in fact fake ('Only God Forgives') but is forgiven because it is actually an extremely well-done teaser poster and I only actually own one of these posters (the 'Grindhouse' one, though I also have a poster of 'Buried' which I'm fond of.).

A lot of these are movies I love, many are my favorites, but some are also movies I haven't seen and some are just movies I outright hate which happened to have cool posters (Ugh, if only the Harry Potter movies or The Dark Knight Rises were as cool as their posters were).

So sit back relax and stare at posters because you have nothing better to do...

Back when I was working on a cathartic adaptation of Rian Johnson's novella-turned-movie Brick, I had one image in mind in order for the poster... If only I had enough creativity to think up his mysteriously cool campaign...

Except he had also already thought up the one image I wanted to use...

I know a girl who is still frightened deadly by the poster below...

Why weren't we funding Japan's idea of what Star Wars is about?

Saw the following on a list of the worst foreign movie posters of American films... I beg to fucking differ on this one...

I have a confession to make... The Phantom Menace was the first Star Wars film I had ever seen fully. I was aware of who Darth Vader was, but I never knew his real name until the moment I saw this poster below... Not only is it hella fucking cool, but it also was so revelatory to me that I needed to want it someday to put on my wall, bad movie (I liked it anyway) or not....

The following German poster is the number one poster on my wishlist....

PLEASE GIMME!!!

Yes, the poster above is fake, but isn't it amazing anyway! Like so many questions from this image alone! And who didn't want to see Ryan Gosling's face messed up?

Man, if only this movie were as amazing as the poster they put for its IMAX screenings...

So misleading below, but so awesome anyway!!!

I just love how tongue-in-cheek the poster below is...

Oh so that's where the head came from...

Last but not least of course... my favorite movie...

Laters!!!
